Introduction

William Patterson Warden, who wrote the letter of 1834, was the s/o Cunningham Warden and Elizabeth Bebout, born August 15, 1834, in North Robinson, Crawford County, Ohio, died January 26, 1890, in Whetstone Twp., married Lucy Jane Beaver on October 14, 1859, Crawford County, d/o John Beaver and Jane Trimble. Their children, born North Robinson, were: 

1-Clorise E. Warden, born about 1860, died June 30, 1946, in Bucyrus, married Jacob Charles Edsinger on September 28, 1880: 
2-Cynthia Alice Warden, born June 18, 1861, died August 30, 1932, in Bucyrus, married Isaac M. Chambers on April 27, 1875: 
3-Lidia J. Warden, born September 13, 1866, died July 26, 1963, in Bucyrus, married Allen G. Sprankle after 1906 (
This could be the A.G. Sprankle who appears in the 1875/76 Crestline City Directory --- Newspapers and Job Printers, Crestline Advocate, A.G. Sprankle prop _ Bucyrus near Opera House): 
4-Mary Winifred Warden, born about 1869, married William H. Coulter on September 28, 1892: 
5-William A. Warden, born about 1872 -this child is not in the 1880 census and may have died young, or he may not have belonged to this family. Further investigation is warranted: 
6-Willimena E. Warden, born April 29, 1872, died Dec.16, 1952, at Galion, married John Knell on July 11, 1901: 
7-Abram Leroy Warden, born February 22, 1876 (
