The remains of Mrs. Mary Lisowski, who passed away at the hospital at West Salem, Wis., Tuesday, June 3rd where she was taken for treatment about two years ago, were brought here Wednesday and taken to the home of her daughter, Mrs. Joseph Woychik, the cause of death being old age.

Mary Lisowski, nee Mary Pipa, was born in Germany in the year 1840 and in 1862 was married to Jacob Lisowski and emigrated to America in 1880, coming to the town of Arcadia where they resided on a farm for two years, after which the family moved to this city, her husband preceding her in death about fifteen years ago. Mrs. Lisowski was a kind and devoted mother and her loss is mourned by three daughters and two brothers, namely; Mrs. John Woychik of Arcadia; Mrs. George Kubis of Pingree, N.D. and Sister M. Sancia of Chicago, and John and August Lisowski of Arcadia. One daughter, Mrs. Peter Killian of Weyburn, Sask., preceding her in death last April. She also leaves two sisters, Mrs. Josephine Cech of Independence and one sister in Poland to mourn her loss; five brothers having preceded her in death.

The funeral was held Thursday morning at 10 o'clock at St. Stanislaus Church, Rev. J. Andrzejewski officiating and a large concourse of relatives and friends attending. Interment was made in the St. Stanialaus Cemetery. May the deceased rest in peace.
