Our ancestor Mathias Kilian married Rosalie Gandyra (she baptized at Chroscutz, Schlesien, Prussia) at a time and place yet to be determined. The lineage of Rosalie was provided by her descendant Rose Marie Pyka Countryman. Mathias may have had a second wife, although that theory has not been proven.

Rosalie is likely buried in the large Gandyra plot in St. Michaels RC Cemetery, North Creek, Trempeleau County, Wisconsin.

She is listed in the passenger list of Germans to America Arriving at U.S. Ports - by Ira A. Glazier and P. William Filby. According to the list, Mathias arrived at the Port of New York on June 14, 1869, aboard the ship S.S. Teutonia. He was then age 37, and with him was his wife Rosalie (age 27), child P. (age 3), and child Margr__(age 6 mos.). The vessel derived from the Port of Hamburg, in Germany.

I have come across different variations of the spelling but for this site I will use Gandyra.
